A BIT ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Christy – Creative Designer and graduate from Youngstown State University’s Graphic & Interactive Design program. After graduation, I was honored to complete an internship with The Walt Disney Company’s Talent Acquisition Marketing team. Through that experience, I learned, not only so much about design and marketing, but even more about myself. My work reaches so many people across the globe and that is a humbling thing to be a part of. I am continuing my work with Disney as a designer, as well as accepting freelance projects.
Besides being a graphic designer, I am also a wannabe 70’s flower-child, dessert enthusiast, perfectionist, dog lover, and huge dork!
A BIT ABOUT MY WORK
For as long as I can remember, I have loved math and solving problems. I have also always loved art and design. Becoming a graphic designer was a perfect melding of 2 passions of mine. It is a career where my creative right-brain and analytical left-brain come together in perfect harmony. Everyday, I am faced with challenges in the work that I do and working through those and creating meaningful solutions is what keeps me going and has kept me passionate about my job.
A few of my specialities include typography, hand-lettering, brand identity/logo design, and publication design. While I would call those my strengths, I also have experience with many more aspects of design, from web design to video editing to illustration. The more variety, the better.
